Tracy Spiridakos

Tracy Spiridakos, a Canadian actor from Canada. She starred as Becky Richards on the Teletoon children's show Majority Rules! From 2009 until 2010, she starred as Becky Richards on the Teletoon children's show Majority Rules! She was on the screen from 2009 until the year 2010. Annika Johnson was her character in the A&E television show Bates Motel. Spiridakos has appeared on the NBC drama Chicago P.D. since 2017. As Detective Hailey Upton, Spiridakos is the main character. Spiridakos was brought up in Winnipeg, Manitoba by George Spiridakos and Anastasia Spiridakos, Greek-born restaurant owners. Spiridakos has two brothers. The family relocated to her father's home town, Skala, Greece south of Sparta within a couple of years after she was born and then returned to Canada in 1992. She is strongly connected to her Greek roots and speaks fluent Greek. Spiridakos began acting when she was in junior high school. She continued her studies at the Actors Training Centre of Manitoba. In 2000, she graduated from Oak Park High School. Spiridakos moved from Winnipeg in 2007. She was able to land her first role on Supernatural within a few weeks. The actress worked on television for a few more years, landing parts on Psych, The L Word, Hellcats and Bionic Woman. Spiridakos played in the TV movie Goblin and in the web-based show Mortal Kombat: Legacy. She also played a regular role in Being Human as werewolf Brynn McLean.In 2009, she was awarded her first role as a star in the Canadian Teletoon series Majority Rules!, playing 15-year-old Becky Richards. In 2011, she made her feature film debut with Rise of the Planet of the Apes. She also filmed Kill for Me, a low-budget thriller written by Michael Greenspan. The film featured Donal Logue, Katie Cassidy, and directed by Michael Greenspan. Spiridakos was seen as Sammi in the 2012 Nickelodeon original movie, Rags. Then she was offered a leading role on the NBC television series Revolution as Charlotte "Charlie" Matheson, an aspiring survivalist living in a futuristic dystopian world. She auditioned while she was at her pilot season in Los Angeles. Spiridakos made the pilot film in Atlanta and also filmed the pilot season in Wilmington, North Carolina. Because of her performance in the pilot she was nominated for the Saturn Award for Best Actress on television. She fell short to Anna Torv from Fringe's The Good Place. Production was moved to Austin, Texas for the second season.
